We are an insurance agency, not an insurance carrier
Licensed agents can help explain and compare available options. The applicable insurer or plan administrator determines eligibility, pricing, benefits, underwriting, claims, and final coverage terms.
1. Our Role
Healthcare Solutions Team Brandon provides insurance information and assistance through appropriately licensed insurance professionals. We are not an insurance carrier, do not pay claims, and do not make final underwriting or eligibility decisions.
Unless expressly stated for a particular enrollment, we are not HealthCare.gov, a state Marketplace, Medicare, Medicaid, or another federal or state government agency. No government agency endorses this website.
2. Licensing, Appointments, and Geographic Availability
Insurance may be discussed, solicited, or sold only through people and entities that hold the licenses and carrier appointments required for the product and state involved. The presence of information on this website does not mean every product is available in every state or that every agent is authorized for every carrier.
Availability depends on your residence, age, eligibility, carrier service area, enrollment period, underwriting rules, agent appointment, and applicable law. If we cannot assist in a particular state or with a particular product, we may explain other resources without representing that coverage is available through us.
3. Carrier Relationships and Compensation
We are independent from the insurance carriers whose products may be discussed. We do not necessarily represent every carrier or offer every plan available in a service area. Comparing options through our agency is not the same as reviewing the entire insurance market.
Insurance carriers may compensate an agency or agent through commissions or other permitted compensation when a policy is issued or renewed. Compensation can vary by carrier, product, and period. You may ask us about our role and how we are compensated. Any premium presented to you should be confirmed in the carrier’s official quote or enrollment materials.
Carrier names, logos, plan names, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their use does not imply ownership by, or endorsement of, Healthcare Solutions Team Brandon.
4. Quotes, Applications, and Enrollment
Quotes and comparisons are based on the information available at the time and the details you provide. They are estimates, not offers or guarantees. Premiums, benefits, provider networks, prescription coverage, financial assistance, and effective dates can change when information is verified or an application is reviewed.
Submitting information, requesting a quote, signing an application, or making an initial payment does not by itself guarantee approval or coverage. Coverage becomes effective only when the responsible carrier or administrator confirms approval, applicable conditions are satisfied, required payment is received, and the stated effective date has arrived.
You are responsible for reviewing application answers for accuracy before submission and for promptly correcting incomplete or inaccurate information. Material omissions or misrepresentations can affect eligibility, pricing, claims, or policy validity.
5. Official Policy Documents Control
Website descriptions, illustrations, summaries, agent explanations, and marketing materials are not the insurance contract. The applicable policy, certificate, evidence of coverage, Summary of Benefits and Coverage, benefit schedule, endorsements, exclusions, and carrier notices contain the controlling terms.
If a website statement or conversation differs from an official plan document, the official document controls. Read the documents carefully, including limitations, exclusions, waiting periods, network rules, prescription formularies, prior authorization requirements, renewal provisions, and cancellation terms.
6. Product-Specific Limitations
Insurance products serve different purposes. Dental, vision, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, short-term medical, fixed indemnity, and other supplemental or limited-benefit products are not substitutes for comprehensive major medical coverage unless official documents expressly state otherwise.
Life insurance may involve underwriting, contestability periods, exclusions, beneficiary rules, and policy charges. Group coverage depends on employer and employee eligibility, participation, contribution, and carrier requirements. Product details and availability vary.
Never cancel existing insurance until you have reviewed and accepted the new policy, confirmed its effective date, and understood any gap, waiting period, or change in benefits.
7. Financial Assistance and Professional Advice
Eligibility for Marketplace premium tax credits, cost-sharing reductions, Medicaid, Medicare, or other public programs is determined by the responsible government agency or authorized Marketplace based on current rules and verified information. We cannot guarantee eligibility or the amount of assistance.
Licensed insurance agents provide insurance information within the scope of their licenses. They do not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment, or medical advice. Consult an appropriately qualified professional about those matters.
8. Claims and Ongoing Service
We may help you locate carrier contacts, understand general claim steps, or organize questions. Only the carrier or authorized claim administrator can determine whether a claim is covered, request documentation, calculate benefits, or issue payment.
Claim and appeal deadlines can be important. Review the carrier’s notice and policy, preserve records, and submit required material directly through the carrier’s designated process. Agency assistance does not extend a deadline or guarantee an outcome.
9. Florida Consumer Resources and Contact
Florida consumers can verify an insurance professional’s license and appointments through the Florida Department of Financial Services Licensee Search. The Department also provides insurance purchasing guidance and consumer assistance.
For help with an insurance question or complaint in Florida, contact the Florida Department of Financial Services Consumer Helpline at 1-877-MY-FL-CFO (1-877-693-5236). These links are provided as public resources and do not imply government endorsement of our agency.
