Need information in another format?
Call or email our team and tell us what you need. We will make reasonable efforts to provide the information or service through an accessible alternative.
1. Our Accessibility Commitment
Healthcare Solutions Team Brandon is committed to providing a welcoming and accessible digital experience for people with disabilities. We want visitors to be able to learn about insurance options, contact our team, and use the website with dignity and independence.
Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility. We consider it when designing pages, writing content, choosing technology, and reviewing changes to the website.
2. Our Accessibility Standard
Our goal is to align the website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines explain ways to make digital content more perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.
This statement describes our goal and current approach. It is not a claim that every page, feature, or third-party service conforms fully at all times. Technology and content change, and some barriers may not be identified immediately.
3. Accessibility Features
The website has been designed to support accessibility through features that include:
- Semantic page landmarks, descriptive headings, and a logical content structure.
- A skip link that lets keyboard users move directly to the main content.
- Keyboard-operable navigation and clearly visible focus indicators.
- Responsive layouts that adapt to mobile devices, tablets, zoom, and larger text.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and decorative images hidden from assistive technology where appropriate.
- Labels, required-field indicators, instructions, and error messaging for website forms.
- Color and typography choices intended to support readability and sufficient contrast.
- Reduced or disabled motion when a visitor enables the reduced-motion preference in their device or browser.
- Plain-language content and descriptive link text wherever practical.
4. Ongoing Review and Improvement
We periodically review website templates, navigation, forms, images, links, and new content for accessibility. Reviews can include automated checks, keyboard testing, responsive testing, and manual inspection.
When we identify a barrier, we prioritize a practical correction based on its impact, the affected task, and the resources needed. We also consider accessibility when selecting or updating outside technology used on the website.
5. Third-Party Content and Services
Some pages link to or embed services controlled by third parties, such as Google Maps, insurance carrier websites, government Marketplaces, social platforms, and document-hosting services. We do not control the accessibility of those services.
If a third-party feature creates a barrier, contact us. We will try to provide the relevant information another way or help you reach the appropriate provider.
6. Requesting an Accessible Alternative
If you cannot access information, complete a form, or use a feature, you may contact us by telephone, email, or mail. We can discuss another way to provide the information or service, such as reviewing content by phone or providing an electronic document in a more usable format when available.
When contacting us, please include:
- The web address or page title where you encountered the problem.
- A brief description of the barrier and the task you were trying to complete.
- The browser, device, or assistive technology you were using, if you are comfortable sharing it.
- Your preferred way for us to respond.
7. Accessibility Feedback
Feedback from visitors helps us improve. Send accessibility questions or barrier reports to kbardales@myhst.com or call (813) 689-8800. You may also write to Healthcare Solutions Team Brandon, 730 Cactus Ridge Cir, Suite B, Seffner, FL 33584.
We will make reasonable efforts to acknowledge the concern, understand the affected task, and provide an accessible alternative while a correction is evaluated.
